What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is often used to improve or even remove, a wide range life challenges caused by emotions, habits, unwanted old memories or old outdated beliefs. This is achieved through tapping into the powerful subconscious mind because the subconscious mind is the storehouse of our deep rooted emotions, habits, long-term memory, belief and values.

Hypnotherapy involves using guided visualization to bring individual into a calm and relaxing state as such state enables direct access to the subconscious mind, making positive change to occur easily and naturally; eliminating the frustration of having to keep trying and struggling.

Hypnotherapy only works if you want it to work, the hypnotherapist cannot make you do anything you don’t want to, even if it’s good for you because your mind is always under YOUR control; NOT the hypnotherapist.

Who needs Hypnotherapy?

ANYONE can use the service of hypnotherapy because hypnotherapy is like a “massage and detox” programme for the mind and body. It enables the mind to calm down and when the mind is calm and still, the body automatically go into a relaxing and comfortable state as the body muscles is no longer tense; it has loosen up when the mind is relaxed.

Hypnotherapy “detoxes” the mind through releasing emotional baggage that one has accumulated or suppressed over the years. Emotional baggage can hinder anyone’s true potential, life opportunity, relationships and even HEALTH!

Therefore, it’s important for us to detox and remove the blockages of old unwanted emotions, thoughts, feelings and memories so that our inner strength and mental clarity can be enhanced and a balanced wellbeing can be attained.

Kate Lim is a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP coach; she also holds a Master Degree in Psychology. She embarks on this journey of sharing and guiding individual inspired by her own healing experiences and learning from auto-immune disorder, anxiety and depression. Her passion to help others grew stronger when she learned that healing and positive change in life IS possible.
